Pond - 2009 Unoaked Chardonnay

Winemaker's Notes Harvested on November 2nd and fermented to dryness in stainless steel under cool conditions. We kept this wine on the fine lees for 6 months, gifting it with an even more substantial, full-bodied flavour. Tasting Notes The aromas of toasty lees combine nicely with pear, apple and citrus notes. Ample body leaves a feeling of weight in the mouth. This wine finishes long and very clean, the result of the unoaked fermentation process. This fabulous wine pairs with a wide range of foods. A wine to be enjoyed throughout a meal, from a citrusy seafood salad, through to pastries or cheeses for dessert.
